GORE-TEX Mesh Upper

Utilising a synthetic upper, the Olympus 5 Mids will work to keep your feet feeling breathable and comfortable due to their airflow optimisation. This means air will travel through the shoes efficiently removing any uncomfortable moisture and replacing this with fresh, cool air. Not only this but the upper have a GORE-TEX membrane to supply your feet with constant protection when travelling on wet, muddy trails, therefore feet remain dry throughout your adventures.

They have a premium collar which sits comfortably, providing you with a tailored and locked-in secure fit to keep you balanced and comfortable, no matter what conditions you're walking in. Newly designed sidewalls, along with the structure and durability of the shoes keep you protected from knocks, bumps and grazes when you're on the trail. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system to ensure that feet further remain locked in and secure, preventing the issues of in-shoe slippage or discomfort.

Altra EGO Midsole

The midsole unit uses Altra Ego which is a dual-nature midsole compound with a responsive, yet soft feel for increased energy return. the Dual-Layer EVA cushioning reduces the wear and tear placed on joints, lessening the potential risk of injury in susceptible areas. Secondly, the midsole features Altra's zero-drop platform. Every Altra shoe features the Zero Drop Platform that places the heel and forefoot the same distance from the ground for natural alignment and a low-impact landing. The original Footshape technology due to a wider toe box allows you to splay your toes for a more natural fit and feel when on any surface.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

The Olympus 5s utilise a Vibram Megagrip outsole, which is a high-performance, sticky rubber which provides you with exceptional grip and traction on a multitude of surfaces, whether that's wet or dry.

Adorning the outsole are flex grooves which work to increase your traction and grip in varying conditions by allowing your foot to move naturally, providing a larger surface area. The grooves have been cut from the midsole to reduce the overall weight of the shoes, and offer you a multi-directional grip that flexes as you move, for additional speed and improved performance.
